The GPX 6000 is a pulse-induction (PI) class gold detector built around Minelab's exclusive GeoSense-PI technology, which analyzes and responds to ground signals with exceptional clarity and precision — enabling detection in terrain once considered too difficult to search.
GeoSense-PI rapidly dampens unwanted signals through three overlapping feedback systems, delivering ultra-fast response for every gold target. Automatic ground balance continuously adapts to changing soil during the sweep, with no manual adjustment required.
At just 2.1 kg, with a lightweight carbon-fiber shaft, a streamlined control box, and a U-Flex armrest, it supports longer, more comfortable detecting sessions. Audio comes through the internal speaker or the ML 100 wireless headphones, which use low-latency aptX Bluetooth.
Ground mode switches between Normal and Difficult (the mineralized-ground default), coil mode toggles between EMI Cancel and Conductive Ground Cancel for salty ground, and Quick-Trak ground balance — automatic or fast manual — keeps pace with changing soil, all wrapped in an Easy Expert setup that performs like an expert's from the first power-up.
